Pink, Sparkles, and Bows!

Its a GIRL!!!!

I am still in shock that we are having a baby girl And I think Davey doesn't believe we are having a girl until she comes into this world in March. Davey and I thought that we were going to have a boy and everyone kept saying that they think we are having a girl. And they were right.
On Thursday October 13 at SIX o'clock at NIGHT. (Yes I had to wait that long to find out) We didn't go small finding out. We had a crowd there to find out what we are having. We had my sister Laurie, my nephew Kaden, my best friend Braydee and her husband Jeff.  It was important that are our moms were on the phone to hear as well.
As they started the ultrasound I was so nervous but once I heard the heartbeat all my nerves went away then I saw our little baby on the screen and I couldn't help but smile.

Our little baby didn't want to cooperate by having her legs closed but after awhile her legs were no longer closed and it was for sure a GIRL! Tears came and I was so excited! The look on Daveys face was priceless. I loved it.  He kept  asking "are you sure, I thought that I saw something."

We are so exited for our Baby Girl!

16 Weeks and feeling GREAT!

16 Weeks and I am so excited for this week because we find out what we are having! I am losing sleep because I am so excited. Everyone is asking what I am hoping for and to be honest I will be happy with or boy or a girl as long as its healthy and has 10 fingers and 10 toes. Its starting to sink in that I am going to be a mom and I can't hardly wait to hold our baby in our arms for the first time. 

 

It still amazes me everyday that a baby is growing inside of me. Its such a wonderful feeling.

 

Feeling Better!

Its been a WHOLE week that I have not felt sick!  I am starting to feel better and starting to get more energy.  This last week I have also started to cook dinner again.  And Davey is loving it.

I made:

Taco Soup

Spaghetti

and Hawaiian Haystacks

And the other nights we just went out.

Maybe next week I will start going back to the gym or maybe I will just sit on the couch and relax!

Hello Second Trimester!

Second trimester is here and I hear you start feeling better, you have more energy and you start showing off the baby bump. Today I am 14 weeks along and the baby is a size of a lemon. I have this app on my cell phone that tells me what fruit the baby is week by week.  So we call the baby  "baby lemon" this week!  Last week the baby was a peach!

I am so excited for the next couple of weeks because:

We get to find out the sex  on October 22

Start showing a little more

Fall is coming 

And start feeling better!!!

We are so excited to be parents and can't wait to meet our little baby!

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes baby in a baby carriage!

We are having a BABY!!!

Total weight gain/loss:  I have lost weight, because I am so sick
Maternity clothes?  Not yet! But I am going to need them in the next couple of weeks!

Sleep: I am always tired. I love going to bed early
Best moment this week: We had a doctor appointment this week and we got to hear the heartbeat

The Honeymoon

After the wedding it was time to sit back and relax on our honeymoon. Lets just say it was the best week I had in along time. Just me and the love of my life on a huge cruise ship for 4 days. We had so much fun and gained a lot of weight .

Goodbye Utah, Hello California! We left Easter sunday and drove down to California 

We made it on the Carnival cruise ship in Long Beach

Our favorite thing on the cruise was the unlimited ice cream cones and you can get them anytime you want.
And trust me we did

Our first stop was Catalina Island! We absolutely loved the island! It was so beautiful. We cant wait to come back for our one year anniversary!  

Because Catalina is so small the people that live there mostly use golf carts to drive around. So we rented one and drove around the island.

That night was formal night, we got to dress up all nice and had an amazing dinner

We came back to our room and we found animals made out of towels 

Day # 3 we went to Mexico. We did some shopping and walked around the city

The day at sea! We weren't so smart and didn't think to bring sunscreen and we got so sun burnt but we still had so much fun.
